The Third project in UX | UI Immersive program with Misk Academy: Creating an online experience for a city

Questions:
- Where do you prefer to book your activities? and why?
- How do you prefer the visit package? what does it include?
- Why do you travel?
- What the things that attracts you in the visited city?
- Do you usually visit the website of the visited city? and why?
- How do you decide to visit a city?
- What information or service do wish to get from the city website?
- What is your biggest pain point when you visit or planning to visit a new city?
- Do you agree to use this information?
We analysis the users interview’ answers by Affinitty mapping and categorize them according to users’ problems
our finding:
- Most of our users prefer to use a Website to plan or book their travel. They find the website is easier and has better view of photos and information.
- The majority of users look for packages based on their needs. They prefer to customize their packages.
- Our users like to travel mostly to explore new cities and learn about their culture.
- The most things that attract our users when they travel are history, culture and nature of the city.
- Most of our users like to visit the official website of the city to collect information.
- Most of our users choose the city they want to travel to based on the weather and the culture of the city or and friends or social media suggestions.
- All information about the destination city and advices are needed for our users, including the history, culture, events and activities.
- Our users struggle to find everything they need to book their travel in one single platform. They move from one website to another to find information which is time and effort consuming. Another pain point is finding the best deals that suit their budget.

The traveler who booked online his trip struggle to plan and reserve a family vacation through different websites while keeping the budget on mind. We want to provide an easy one site experience for saving their time and money.

- Only Travelocity has a customize packages for family, Solotraveler, pet friendly ..etc
- Amosafer and Travelocity provide user with customize package for flight, accommodation and transportation
- Travelocity provide their user with QR code for all booking information and tickets
- Only local application as Visit Saudi and Enjoy Saudi provide user with full local city information
Heuristic Evaluation

- Some of the local competitors websites has a lack of important features such as search bar and city information.
